Während die ursprüngliche Farbgebung einen leuchtend orangefarbenen Streifen (offiziell Solar Red) an der Seite aufwies, ist die 2017er-Farbgebung des Yeezy Beluga viel subtiler. Diese Farbgebung verwendet dieselben zebraartigen Streifen wie das Original, aber das SPLY-350-Branding ist der einzige Teil des Oberteils mit einer Kontrastfarbe – dieses Mal „Bold Orange“ genannt. Der Spitzname des Yeezy Beluga 2.0 kommt von den Ähnlichkeiten mit der früheren Farbgebung, aber die offizielle Farbgebung dieser Adidas Yeezy-Veröffentlichung ist Grau, Bold Orange und Dunkelgrau. Die abgeschwächte Farbkombination machte ihn im Vergleich zu einigen früheren Yeezy-Farbgebungen zu einem ansprechenden Schuh für die Massen. Trotz Gerüchten, die eine Veröffentlichung im Oktober nahelegten, war das offizielle Erscheinungsdatum des Beluga 2.0 der 25. November 2017.
